UNITY IS STRENGTH
Newlat’s Reggio Emilia plant was founded in 1934 when a group of 20 cooperatives decided to join forces to produce and sell their own products. Since then, with the same passion, care and attention, we produce high-quality milk and milk products every day.
GIGLIO, THE FEATHER IN THE PLANT’S CAP
The continuous development of manufacturing technologies in the Reggio Emilia plant, along with the expansion of the Giglio brand’s products, contribute to make the plant a very important player within Italy’s industrial scenario.
Giglio was the first company in Italy to bring innovation to the butter market, and has maintained standards within the industry for over 70 years.
WE NEVER COMPROMISE ON FRESHNESS
Quality means to select the best raw ingredients.
When raw milk arrives at the factory, it is subject to stringent automated real-time checks, which are based on chemical, physical and microbiological parameters. Only milk that meets our internal standards and requirements, which are even stricter than the regulations in force, is accepted and then sent through to the processing departments.
